Arma II's Combined Operations pack is destined for boxed release in Australia, following the explosion of Arma mod DayZ.
The pack contains the original tactical military shooter Arma II and its expansion Arma II: Operation Arrowhead. Both are required to play the game's DayZ mod, which has pushed almost as high as 1 million players and its creators are talking about a standalone release.
All Interactive Entertainment is capitalising on the surprise success of DayZ by pushing for a full release of Combined Operations.
Robert Kingston, MD of AIE, told MCV: "AIE is excited to bring Arma II: Combined Operations to store shelves, we are one of the very few countries in the world supporting the boxed version."
"Not only is Combined Operations a great expansion to the world of Arma II, it also provides gamers the easiest way to be a part of the DayZ mod phenomenon as well as get a taste for the upcoming Arma III."
Arma II: Combined Operations is due for a release on Thursday 9th August for PC.
