As of Monday, AFA Interactive is no longer trading.
The distributor has been a force in the Australian industry for many years, and was founded by Robert Allford, who was unavailable for comment.
A financial controller remains in place to handle the company's affairs and deal with creditors, but it looks like the company as it's been known is no more.
AFA has previously been the exclusive distribution partner for Kalypso Media, City Interactive, Lace Mamba Games and more.
It lost City Interactive to QV Software in late 2011, and didn't pick up a suitable major deal to replace it in the subsequent years.
The company now needs to finalise its affairs, and is dealing with creditors internally.
