Nintendo has unveiled Code Name: Steam for its handheld console.
It is a turn-based strategy game developed by Intelligent Systems – the studio behind the Fire Emblem and Advance Wars series. Hitoshi Yamagami, who has worked on Fire Emblem, Pokémon and Xenoblade, is also involved in the title's development.
The game also uses elements from third-person action titles, too. It won’t use a top down perspective as with the aforementioned franchises, but will use a ‘behind the shoulder’ camera angle.
The title is set in London and will have a steampunk theme, while the graphical style has been inspired from older comic books.
Code Name: Steam is slated for a 2015 release.
