Right Pedal Studios has accepted its first three teams, which will be given extreme boosts in bringing their game visions to life.
Each team will have mentors on hand assisting their productions, including Morgan Jaffit (co-founder, Defiant Development), Dan Vogt (co-founder, Halfbrick) and Matt Hall (developer, Little Things Forever), as well as McCullough Robertson Lawyers, Pitcher Partners and Griffith University, which will each also be assisting the teams in any way they can.
"The first intake represents the variety of talent in the local industry and I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with these teams and bring their games to market.” said John Passfield, manager of Right Pedal.
"The response to the program has been great and each team brings something different to Right Pedal Studios," added founder Steve Baxter. "The games and teams we have chosen give us a very positive feeling about the potential for success of this first round."
The three teams occupying the accelerator in this first intake round is Ghostbox, Geekbrain Games and Screwtape Studios.
A second intake round is already open for applications, and will close on 9th May.
