Surprise Attack pushes into PC gaming

With the appointment of Lex Suurland from Iceberg Interactive, Surprise Attack has decided to broaden its focus.

The agency, which has up until now been focused on the mobile indie space, has branched out with this hire to more fully cater to the PC indie community for marketing and PR.

Suurland worked at Dutch PC publisher Iceberg Interactive on such titles as Endless Space, Killing Floor, APB Reloaded and the Wings of Prey series, and had a strong hand in maintaining relationships with PC digital stores.

“We started Surprise Attack with a focus on mobile games as that was the platform most local developers were working on,” commented Chris Wright, Managing Director at Surprise Attack.

“However, we always felt expanding to PC was critical and we jumped at the chance to bring Lex and his wealth of experience on board.”

The burgeoning agency continues to represent many independent developer interests in Australia, New Zealand and globally.
