State of Decay now rated R18+ in Australia

State of Decay has been rated R18+ in Australia after the game’s “stimulants” were substituted with “vitamins”.

Microsoft’s original submission was Refused Classification as videogames here cannot depict drug use related to incentives or rewards.

By simply changing the text to read “vitamins” Microsoft and developer Undead Labs has successfully secured an R18+ rating for State of Decay, with only the advisory: “High impact violence.”

Undead Labs added, “Who could possibly not like vitamins?”

State of Decay currently has no Australian release date.
