Positive spin on games in mainstream press

In spite of continued stories using games as scapegoats in ridiculous situations even in 2013, the Daily Telegraph has posted a more moderate comment.

Interviewing game reviewer Rae Johnston (31), and her son Seth (12), the Telegraph looked at the pair as a model for bonding over shared interests.

“We have a lot more to talk about, and also I’m able to more closely monitor the type of games he’s playing," said Johnston, who extolled the virtues of games in improving kids' social interaction, motor skills, problem-solving, perseverance and several other life skills.
