Nextmedia appoints new PC PowerPlay and PC & Tech Authority editors

A reshuffle amongst Nextmedia's gaming and technology titles welcomes new editors to PC PowerPlay and PC & Tech Authority.

After joining Nextmedia following the recent acquisition of Haymarket's PC & Tech Authority, John Gillooly moves across to be the new editor of PC PowerPlay. Gillooly was previously editor of PCTA and replaces Daniel Hindes, who joined Gamespot's Australian team late last year.

Succeeding Gillooly is Ben Mansill, former launch editor of PC PowerPlay and Atomic magazines, who rejoins Nextmedia as editor of PC & Tech Authority.

Completing the reshuffle, David Hollingworth is now managing editor across Nextmedia's three gaming and tech titles--PC PowerPlay, PC & Tech Authority, and HYPER. Daniel Wilks remains as HYPER editor.

“We’re putting the finishing touches on what is already a great team” says Hollingworth.

“We’d like to round out our reviewing power, so we’re sure that we can cover all the reviewing bases, and getting onto building a cracker of a website. I’m really excited about the opportunities ahead of us this year, and so is everyone in the office.”
