Games Out This Week in ANZ...

It's a massive week of new video game releases with no fewer than 13 titles hitting retail shelves through the next seven days.

Warner Bros. Batman: Arkham series sees its third iteration on current-gen consoles and a spin-off onto handheld. The open world follow-up Batman: Arkham Origins comes to 360 and PS3 for $89.95 and PC for $79.95 while the PlayStation Vita gets its first Arkham game with the side-scrolling platforming of Batman: Arkham Origins - Blackgate for $49.95.

Rocksmith arrives in a 2014 edition to presumably teach us the music of the future. (Hipster.) There's a guitar bundle on 360, PS3 and PC for $249.95 and a guitar-less standalone game for $89.95 or $79.95 on PC.

While you're playing hipster guitar tunes why not add to your neighbours' pain with Just Dance Kids 2014 featuring One Direction. It's $49.95 on Wii U and $39.95 on Wii.

The brawler Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles launches on 360 and 3DS for $39.95.

The obtusely acronymed WRC FIA World Rally Championship 2014 launches on 360 and PS3 for $89.95.

The Director's Cut for stealth/action/shooter/RPG/adventure Deus Ex: Human Revolution comes to Wii U for $59.95.

Beyblade evolves, it says here, with Beyblade Evolution on 3DS for $59.95.

Wii Party U is the stern directive of Nintendo's latest mini-game collection for Wii U. You can be partied for $79.95.

The Sims 3: Into the Future is an expansion pack containing jetpacks and robots, rather than Rocksmith future music, and is coming to PC for $49.95.

Disgaea fans should look out for The Guided Fate Paradox on PS3 for $59.95. And if you don't know what a Disgaea is then just move right along.

And finally, there's a new Spongebob game, bob. Spongebob Squarepants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge comes to PS3 and 3DS for $39.95.
