The biggest release coming out this week... is already out.
Aliens: Colonial Marines broke its street date on Saturday, with EB Games confirming that it was officially on sale after a competitor let the game out early.
The shooter is a solid effort to recreate the charm and fear of the Aliens universe, acting as a faithful and direct sequel to the 1986 film. It's out now for 360 and PS3 (AUD$79.95 or NZD$99.95) or PC (AUD$69.95 or NZD$89.95).
Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth is finally getting its Australian and New Zealand Wii U release, although it hasn't been getting great reviews (62 on Metacritic). It's out on Thursday 14th February for AUD$69.95 or NZD$79.95.
Omerta: City of Gangsters has sadly failed to impress (55 on Metacritic) either, which is a shame from the Tropico team. The 360 version is out on Wednesday 13th February for AUD$69.95.
